What a turn out out for our 2nd show, the weather was great, thankyou to all those who helped to set up on Saturday and packing up on Sunday,We hope everyone had a great day. Welcome to all our new members who joined on Sunday, we now have the highest membership ever ! Points will be added shortly once the committee have had chance to recover from the weekend!

Looking for something else to do before the next show?
Beaumont Cote Stables Cross Country Course is now open with an assortment of up to 20 jumps (with optional small logs). Please phone first to ensure the course is clear, only £12.00 per horse per day. For more information or to pre book please call Kate or Neville on 07889 851111 or 01524 823131

Can members please be reminded that the "Intro to showing" classes are FOR GENUINE BEGINNERS TO SHOWING IN THEIR FIRST SEASON (RIDERS NOT HORSES) WHETHER IT BE AT MBRC OR ANY OTHER EVENT. Anyone who enters these classes who is then found not to be a genuine beginner to shows will be disqualified. If in doubt please just ask us before entering.
The committee have been working hard behind the scenes all winter to get everything organised for this year. We have made some slight changes to the schedule, dressage and show jumping classes this year. We have also introducing a separate clear round ring to reduce waiting times and to enable those who are not quite ready to take part in jumping classes chance to practice jumping at their desired height.
We would really appreciate any offers of help setting up on the Saturday prior to shows and taking down on Sunday after the show. There are only 6 of us on the committee all who have either work / family commitments or compete themselves ( some have all 3! ) so please if you can spare a couple of hours it would be a great help.
We will post on the website, the week before each show, the time we are meeting to set up - this should be around 4 p.m. and remember if you help out you will get a free class entry. Please contact Jo or Ang with your contact details if you wish to be added to our 'regular helpers' list.

Please note we will no longer be providing schedules on show days due to cost of printing, please keep your schedule booklet provided with your membership card throughout the season. Extra timetables and schedules can be downloaded from the above links - only laminated copies will be on view in the entries tent on show days. Thank you.
We are now taking postal entries for our third show of the season on Sunday 12th of July. Entries must be in before Thursday prior to the show on Sunday. Please send entries to Joanne Cross (dressage only entries to Ang Ross). Forms can be downloaded from the menu bar and remember postal entries are only £3.00 per class for members so for those who have not become a member for this season yet, why not send your membership form in to Angela now and save time and money on show days!!
SPONSORSHIP FOR THE 2009 SCHEDULE
For this year's show season we are looking for people to sponsor classes at our shows. Sponsors can be anyone from a private individual to small/large businesses of any nature. Sponsorship can be done in a number of ways ranging from sponsoring one single class to having a full set of show jumps with your company's logo and details on. As a minimum your details will appear on the schedule and website, giving high exposure to the growing equestrian community within this area, and beyond. We are already working hard to plan this years' events and would like to hear from anyone interested in being added to our stewards list. You will get paid £10.00 for half a day or £20.00 for the full day plus refreshment vouchers. Please contact Sally Sagar at sagarpuds@tiscali.co.uk
We would also like to have a group of regular volunteers who we can rely on to help set up the shows on a Saturday. The more people who help, the quicker we can get it done. We are very grateful to those people who volunteered in 2008. Due to work and family commitments on a Saturday of some of the committee we need your support and help to enable us to continue with future shows. Helpers get a free class entry every time they help. Please contact Joanne Cross at jtcross@talktalk.net to be added to our list.
