Championship Show

To be eligible for entry to the "Championship Show" you must be a member who has competed in the class in at least two out of the three shows prior to the championship show in the same season.

Points System

Members are only eligible for points from the date on which the current year's membership is paid.
Points are awarded to a combination of same rider/horse.
Members must not change the name of the horse/pony during the season; otherwise points will not be accumulated.
In-hand entries may have a different handler but the handler MUST be a current member for the horse to be awarded points.
Members must have competed in at least 3 shows in respective classes to be eligible for overall points championship in that class.

1st = 7points, 2nd = 6points, 3rd = 5points, 4th = 4points, 5th = 3points,
6th = 2points.
1 attendance point will be awarded to each competing member in the class who does not get placed.

Points Championship

The 'First' Championship

This will be won by the Member, Junior or Senior, accumulating most 1st placings over a full range of classes including Ridden and In-hand (same horse/handler/rider combination) with the exception of all the Clear Round and Novelty classes which do not qualify.

IT IS MOST IMPORTANT THAT HORSES ARE ENTERED IN THE SAME NAME AT EACH SHOW AND IN EACH CLASS.
Names of horses cannot be altered at a later date and no responsibility can be taken by the committee for entry forms not filled in correctly.

Ridden Junior Points Championship
A minimum of three shows must be entered. All ridden classes are eligible provided the rider/horse combination is the same. Clear Round Working Hunter, Clear Round Jumping and Novelty classes do not qualify.

Ridden Senior Points Championship
As above

In-hand Championship
A minimum of three shows must be entered. All In-hand points are accumulated by the horse/pony.
